Greetings Fellow Lions,

My theme for 2021-2022 is “A Gift of Service”. It is what we do, giving of our time, raising funds, helping others have better lives and improving life around us.

The district’s goals for 19 G will be much the same as this past year, through supporting the Global Membership Approach (formerly called NAMI) by developing leaders, increasing service projects, gaining new members, and retaining members.

Each one of us have gifts, talents, and life’s experiences that we can use to make a difference in our communities and in the world. I am thankful for all who have stepped up to serve as leaders in 2021-2022. Without leaders we would be without the guides who help us decide what we want to do or where we want to go. Let’s go and lead as a “TEAM”.

To Great Lions in Service!
District Governor Marilyn Patterson

Lions - The World's Largest Service Club Organization

Our 46,000 clubs and 1.4+ million members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities.

Everywhere we work we make friends; with children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don't have enough to eat, and with people we may never meet.

Clubs in District 19G are in western Washington State from Clearwater-Kalaloch, then south along the coast, then east, covering southwest Washington as far east as Lyle, Washington.
